Most often found in shallow estuaries, lagoons and coastal reefs, Sweetlips has a slate gray color with yellow or blue-grey spots. This relatively small fish (average 20-24” in length) is a wonderful addition to our portfolio due to its mild flavor and firm, moist white flesh. The delicate fillets are best suited to pan-frying and baking.
