Scarlet Snapper

This warm water reef fish ranges in length between 20-30 inches with a common market weight of 4-6 pounds. All of NAI’s Scarlet Snapper is caught in the Pacific using hook and line. The cooked meat of the Scarlet Snapper is sweet, lean and moist, with a mild flavor. The red skin adds beautiful color to a plate, and its firm, flaky texture makes it a versatile option that can be used for many different recipes and cooking methods, including frying, grilling, baking, broiling and sautéing.
